The Enterprise Applications Analyst I – Events and Trials is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for planning and supporting various business meetings, client events, war rooms, and court locations, while troubleshooting software problems of practice office attorneys and paralegals as they relate to firmwide, departmentally driven technology projects. This role will be located in either our New York office, our Washington D.C office or our Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the team in planning the logistics for upcoming offsite meetings, trials, or events
- Meeting and coordinating with other internal technology departments for various on-site Events and Trials
- Coordinating with third-party vendors at offsite locations
- Setting up remote locations including preparing and shipping hardware; lifting, receiving, setting up, and configuring gear
- Maintaining and supporting remote locations by troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues; printing documents, moving furniture/equipment, and performing other tasks the team requires
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Possess knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including the latest versions of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server, Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of various remote communication methodologies including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (“VDI”), Remote Desktop Services (“RDS”), Multi-factor authentication (“MFA”) technology, and VPN
- Exhibit knowledge and proficiency of TCP/IP and other modern network protocols
And have:
- A High School Diploma; with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferably
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a PC hardware/software support role working directly with legal professionals
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience working with desktop computers, notebook computers and/or Remote Desktop Services (“RDS”) / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (“VDI”)
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management related to planning event logistics
- Experience in trial and war room situations, preferably
