Job Description
Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seekingan Engineering Project Coordinator whose primary duties will include assisting engineering department staff in the timely execution of projects.
Additional Duties:
- Monitor and track engineering department development tasks and timelines to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather updates on task progress and potential roadblocks.
- Liaise with Sales, Procurement, and Production departments to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate inter-departmental activities to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Utilize MS Project and PowerPoint to generate comprehensive status reports for project stakeholders.
- Communicate project milestones, challenges, and achievements in a clear and concise manner.
- Facilitate the documentation process for clients, ensuring all necessary information is collected and organized.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create client-facing documents that meet project specifications.
- Schedule and coordinate project-related meetings, ensuring the participation of key stakeholders.
- Prepare meeting agendas, document discussions, and follow up on action items.
- Prepare material requisition forms and obtain necessary authorization signatures.
- Coordinate engineering department physical assets. Create reports of equipment status. Ensure availability of equipment aligns with project development requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Mastery of MS Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Knowledge of project management including setting milestones, defining deliverables, and assigning resources.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast paced, dynamic workplace.
Must be able to understand and follow departmental operations and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication and proven interpersonal skills.
Position is a full-time, daylight position, M-F 7:30am-3:30pm
