To carry out enforcement and collection of Court Orders in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations.

Starting Salary: $22.70 an hour / $44,265 annually

Current county employees will follow the county's promotion/demotion policy.
Responsibilities:
- Serves bench warrants, personal service of court documents, locates absent parents/payees/payers and investigates and verifies information on parties involved.
- Provides office and courtroom security.
- Maintain semi-annual weapons qualification and other annual defensive tactics training.
- Interacts with other counties, agencies, clients, and general public to enforce court orders.
- Record keeping and report maintenance.
- Transports prisoners.
- Assists in preparing cases and documentation for litigation/court hearings.
- Attends meetings and training as required.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Act 235 Lethal Weapons training is preferred but not required
- Some previous computer training.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 2-4 years’ experience in law enforcement, human services or courts preferred.
