JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Vehicle Registration Office at Penn State Harrisburg is accepting applications for part-time parking Permit Enforcement for the 2023-2024 Academic Year .
Job Duties
- Patrol assigned areas of campus to identify parking violations.
- Issue parking tickets and/or warnings.
- Direct all violation recipients to the VRP office with disputes and/or complaints.
- Provide information on parking regulations and available parking options.
- General office duties including filing, organizing and minimal computer entries.
- Assist office personnel with additional tasks as needed (i.e. verification of non-working kiosk machines, upkeep on Parking Gator, etc).
- Direct pedestrians and vehicular traffic within parking lots during special events as requested.
Requirements and Qualifications
- May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
