Energetic Medical Assistant

LUX Infusion is a cutting-edge ambulatory medical infusion center, with locations in Anchorage and Palmer, AK! We are proud to offer members of our community living with both acute and chronic conditions, a luxurious, safe, and cost-effective space to receive their infusion or injectable therapy.

LUX Infusion is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant in Anchorage, AK. Medical Assistant would work primarily with adults- peds experience a plus! You will contribute to outstanding patient experience by working with an Infusion Nurse to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.

CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative duties:

• Answering phones
• Scheduling patients
• Check-in patients
• Data entry
• Comply with HIPAA, state and federal laws
• Other duties as described by your supervisor

Clinical duties:

• Take vitals
• Enter medication list
• Document history and reason for visit
• Seat patients
• Clean and stock bays
• Adhere to scope of practice of a Medical Assistant

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year of clinical experience working as a Medical Assistant
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current Medical Assistant certification
• BLS a plus

BENEFITS

• $20-$24 per hour
• Day shift
• 4 X 10 hour days per week Monday- Thursday
