What You’ll Do
- Manage multiple work streams leading to the development of user facing communications (beginning with creative development, through deployment of messaging to users) and provide guidance to others working on similar workstreams
- Work closely with our design counterparts, core PMMs, UX and Engineers to aid in development and go to market strategy of new communication channels for Google Pay and Google Wallet.
- Product infrastructure Updates: Ensure that internal product updates that affect our communications/notifications abilities (Payments Engagement Platform and Gamma) are proceeding as needed while also identifying new needs to add to product roadmaps.
- Audience Segmentation and Strategy: In collaboration with engineering and analytics, help to develop a strategy for user segmentation based on available user data. This will be used to help develop revamped communications strategy in 2024
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Previous client-facing experience with a proven ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across marketing, business development, product management, engineering, legal, and finance.
- Proven project/program management and execution skills.
- Proficient in written and verbal communications.
- Experience working in a marketing function.
- Ability to manage several work streams and projects simultaneously, maintaining a close attention to detail
- Experience working with large data sets and analytics functions
Bonus Points
- Experience translating marketing and promotional requirements into user facing marketing and legal communications (incl. T&Cs, app UI, notifications, emails, etc)
- Relevant experience in growth marketing and/or CRM processes & implementation.
- Past experience in audience/user segmentation
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in San Francisco, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
