JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Electrical Specialist. Electrical Specialists are responsible for the installation and testing of electrical wiring. This person must be able to work in confined spaces. Electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must also be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems.
Essential Functions

Install conduit to bulkheads, for example, connection boxes, circuit breakers, voltage regulators, and switch panels.
Ensures appropriate connections from power-supply circuits to the radio, radar, sonar, fire control, and other electronic equipment.
Tests electrical characteristics, for example, voltage, resistance, and, in circuits, using voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
Troubleshoots electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment.
Collaborate with leadership and engineering to help improve products.
Manage and complete job duties according to the production schedule.
Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines.
Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards.
Required Qualifications
Must be able to install conduits and outlets
Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Must have strong attention to detail
Must demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience
Must have at least 2 years of experience in electrical (including tools of the trade), specifically in the marine or RV industry
Must have a working knowledge of 12v systems
Experience working with 110v or 220v preferred
Experience working with Yamaha and Volvo systems preferred
Ability to interpret manufacturing schedules a plus
Conversational English
Work Environment
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees fahrenheit at times.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10 hour days with most of the time being on your feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
