SalarySLACK, Incorporated is searching for a full-time Editorial Assistant/Assistant Editor for various health care journals.
Responsibilities include: manuscript cleanup, reference verification, table and figure formatting, proofreading, and related editorial and production tasks.
Requirements include: a Bachelor's degree in a writing-intensive field, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to switch between tasks. Editorial experience helpful but not necessary. Zero to two years of experience preferred.
The annual base salary for this position is $36,000 to $37,000. Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience, and equity with internal team members.
