QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Background in working with students
3. Team working relationship with Teachers and other support staff
4. Ability to communicate effectively using oral and written language
5. Must understand and effectively address student's needs
6. Successful completion of all mandated criminal background screenings and fingerprinting as required.
7. Successful completion of the confidential child abuse/neglect database (Trails)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. 8 hour workday - 4 day school week
2. Provide instructional support for students
3. Work in regular, special education, and independent educational settings
4. Provide direct student supervision throughout the school day
5. Provide necessary reports as directed by teachers and administration

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

1. Salary according to the Early Childhood Salary Schedule
