We're looking for an energetic, ambitious, and resourceful Finance/Accounting Coordinator to join the finance department overseeing Dutch Wonderland, Cartoon Network Hotel, and Old Mill Stream Campground.
The Finance/Accounting Coordinator will have the opportunity to be involved with the analysis and implementation of upcoming projects & initiatives for the resort. Standard responsibilities will include completing daily revenue reporting and reconciliations, leading the accounts payable function, and providing administrative support to the finance department.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Primary Functions
• Complete daily revenue reporting and reconciliations for the 3 entities on property (theme park, campground, hotel)
• Responsible for AP processes, including reviewing and processing of invoices and expense reports, coordinating with vendors for account set ups, and researching past-due invoices
• Support department during period close, annual budget, and other tight-deadline periods
• Assist with accounts receivable procedures as needed
• Maintain physical & digital department records
• Assist with data collection for analysis of projects, events, and operations
• Other tasks as assigned
Basic/Required Qualifications
• Finance/Accounting knowledge, or a related field - or - equivalent experience in a related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Foundational understanding of double-entry and accrual accounting
• Ability to communicate general finance information across departments
• Comfortable interacting with guests and co-workers on an as-needed basis
• Ability/willingness to work weekends (on average, a minimum of 4 weekend days per 4-week period) and holidays (on rotation) as needed
• The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication, critical thinking and organizational skills, be pro-active, and be detail oriented. •
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting/finance administration position
• Experience with PoS (Point of Sale) systems
• Relevant industry experience: theme parks, hotels, general hospitality•
Working Conditions
• Physical requirements include the ability to sit, walk, speak, hear, type, lift up to 20 lbs., and use common office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and phones
