Essential Functions of a Patient Coordinator
- Answer phone calls
- Schedule patient appointments
- Scan/upload patient charts
- Coordinate front office tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Perform patient confirmation calls and insurance verification as needed
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to cover evenings and Saturdays
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical office experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- High proficiency of PC systems, tools, and applications.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Full-time
- 8-hour shift
- Must work until 7pm a few nights each week and 1-2 Saturdays per month
