THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE COORDINATOR - FLOATER
THE SCHEDULE:
You work during the hours of 8:45 am - 6:30 pm, Monday - Thursday and 8:45 am - 12:00 pm, Friday.
YOUR ROLE:
In this position, you help keep our finances in good shape and support our daily operations. Your main focus revolves around billing as you process payments, generate invoices, balance accounts, and ensure accurate financial transactions. Providing great customer service, you update patient records and help them navigate the complex world of insurance. You also manage our inventory of medical equipment and office supplies to keep us well-stocked. Thinking strategically, you identify methods for maximizing revenue collection. As needed, you jump in to assist our doctors, case managers, and office staff, ensuring every day is a successful one!
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years of billing experience
- Knowledge about or ability to learn medical billing codes, insurance claim processing, and healthcare compliance regulations
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Organizational skills, communication skills, and strong attention to detail
Experience with medical billing or as a chiropractic assistant would be preferred.
