Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- prioritize and assign students to an instructor for BTW training
- keep current with ISBE & Illinois Secretary of State requirements
- disseminate pertinent information to BTW instructors
- develop and implement the Cooperative Driver Education Licensing Program
- maintain necessary supplies - applications, cooperative drive certificates, rules of the road books, and tests
- orientation of new Behind the Wheel Instructors
- keep and maintain Driver Education student records per state requirements
- assist the Department Chair with developing and implementing emergency procedures
Compensation for Drivers' Education Coordinator is based on Appendix "C (b)" of the Agreement between the Board of Education, O'Fallon Township High School District No. 203 and the O'Fallon Federation of Teachers, O'Fallon, Illinois 62269 (Collective Bargaining Agreement).
