CMMG Inc. is looking for a motivated Receiving Associate to join our team accepting and processing deliveries. This position is responsible for verifying delivered items, unloading trucks, ensuring items are stored correctly and processing returns. The position requires accuracy, advanced problem solving and organizational skills. To be successful you should be able to inspect deliveries with great attention to detail and ensure efficient receiving processes and promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies.

Responsibilities:
- Multi task and handle several urgencies at once.
- Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists
- Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria
- Receiving and signing for deliveries
- Processing returns for incorrect items in appropriate areas
- Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas
- Updating inventory with received items.
- Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
- Utilize inventory software to create, track and reconcile shipments
- Take initiative to fix problems and errors
- Ensure that the working area is cleaned and maintained at all times
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines.
- Detailed oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for eight hours and perform physical activities
- Ability to read, write, sort, check, count and verify numbers
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
- Work independently and within a team environment
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other employees and management.
- Knowledge and ability to use hardware and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, internet and more)
- Satisfactorily complete the 90 day probationary period.
