Reports To: Director of Technology
Location: Based at HPHS but will travel throughout district
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science is a plus.
- Network+ certification is a plus.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in supporting computers and/or providing help desk support to multiple locations.
- Customer service experience.
- Support position in our schools with remote and direct interaction.
- Respond to staff inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Create, document, and escalate issues and problems according to ticket standards and SLAs.
- Monitor assigned tickets and tasks and provide service or escalation as necessary with supervisor approval.
- Provide support for escalated service desk tickets following established protocols.
- Provide desktop, server, and network support.
- Deliver technical staff support over the phone and in person, understands support processes.
- Perform remote and onsite scheduled maintenance.
- Accurately enter and maintain ticket information including notes and resolution.
- Adhere to departmental policies for reporting and managing requests and change control.
- Attend Board meetings to assist with the audio and video needs to record and stream.
- Other duties as required.
Skill Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Must have strong phone and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of available tools to assist in daily tasks.
- Anti-virus solutions for monitoring and remediation.
- Remote Access Tools and software experience.
- Basic understanding of DNS, Firewalls, and DHCP.
- Knowledge of workstation/server hardware and software troubleshooting abilities.
- Working knowledge of computer equipment; general understanding of storage solutions.
- Knowledgeable in troubleshooting and resolving workstation-based software issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of AD, DNS, the Internet and mail flow.
Soft Skills:
- Written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multitask.
- Intellectually resourceful with sound judgment and effective decision-making abilities.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Use of computer and office equipment.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Performs all administrative functions expected at this level.
- May include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, sitting or twisting.
