Responsibilities
- Receive calls for concrete and construction materials.
- Communicate with vendors through phone and email.
- Dispatch internal drivers with deliveries.
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
- Calculate, and estimate material required for projects.
- Communicate with customers per material orders and schedule deliveries.
- Schedule loads and ensures items are loaded correctly and safely.
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge and skills are needed.
- Ability to handle multiple incoming calls.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Strong math skills and knowledge of formulas and tools used to calculate required materials.
- Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Experience with sage, excel, and word to preform job functions.
- Experience with supply chain functions.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Availability to work Saturdays
- High school degree or higher.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
