Dispatcher/Office Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Office Assistant to join our team. The Dispatcher / Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with various office tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general duties, such as Driver Work Assignments, Broker Job Board, answering phone calls, responding to emails
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document management
- Coordinate Customer Pickup and Delivery appointments, including scheduling and sending reminders
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or Broker Job Boards
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- Ability to effectively communicate with GPS providers for fleet management purposes
- Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
