We are currently seeking a Dispatcher with a CDL and experience in running charter bus operations. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in managing our bus fleet, drivers, and ensuring efficient operations. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Type:

Salary:

• $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL Class B with P endorsement and air brakes (Required).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service.
• Clear background.
• Previous dispatch experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the surrounding geographic area to ensure effective and efficient routing.
• Ability to organize and prioritize time to balance conflicting demands related to customer care and dispatching.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in a fast-paced and/or stressful environment (interpersonal and telephone skills).
• Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions from customers and other team members.
• Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment under substantial pressure.
• Ability to work within the appropriate level of independence.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to use office machines (fax, scanner, copier, telephone system).
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Program and TDS computerized routing software.
• Knowledge of Coach Manager Dispatching Software is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read road and street maps.
• Ability to keep organized and accurate records relating to overall dispatch and routing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare buses for trips.
• Train drivers.
• Hire drivers.
• Manage drivers' folders and driver logs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and hours of service.
