To ensure the customer is always serviced first by coordinating effective and timely pickup and drop-off passengers at the appropriate destinations. To manage the job duties of assigned motor coach drivers as well as provide input on hiring, promotional, and disciplinary decision of motor coach drivers.

Plan and direct pickup and drop-off of passengers in line with our intent of always servicing the customer first and prepare routes and dispatch assigned drivers. Ensure all routes are covered and all drivers are out according to service standards and customer requirements. Effectively manage drivers and communicate with them about pickup and drop-off status of passengers, any problems/concerns, etc.

Oversee the proper completion of driver payroll paperwork through the ADP time system Ensure that drivers clock their times accurately Schedule and assign motor coach trips, routes, and drivers Schedules and assign public and private trips; develop efficient and cost-effective routing schedule Handle phone calls from customers in accordance with Fullington's telephone etiquette and customer service standards.
Assist charter office staff with customer service phone calls regarding scheduling trips, customer problem resolution, maintaining timely pick up, drop-off, etc. Support both Operations and Sales efforts within the charter department as well as across service lines (ex. limos and tours).
Respond quickly and effectively to routine requests or emergency situations. Responsible for training, coaching, motivating and monitoring motor coach drivers. This includes advising on hiring, discipline and determination in terminating employees.
Works closely with other departments to ensure compliance with company policy and external regulations. Responsible for driver safety and ensuring training is provided to drivers on safety standards and compliance to federal regulations as well as DOT and OSHA compliance. Work closely with Safety Department maintaining adequate scores on Safety audit.
Prepare for and adhere to the dispatch section of any audit (ex. PUC, DOT, etc) Maintain an up-to-date listing of available motor coaches and drivers. Assure that each scheduled route is appropriately covered by utilizing available drivers and substitute drivers.
Perform annual evaluation on direct reports and make recommendations on retention, rate increase, bonus eligibility, promotion potential, and required disciplinary actions. Drive a motor coach when needed. Other duties as assigned.
Be able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evenings and weekends Requirements: Qualifications 2-4 years transportation related work experience Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (ex. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), ability to efficiently use electronic means of communication, and effectively research items using the internet.
