Driver Dispatcher - Nights

Pay $20/hr

Overview:

Dispatchers duties include providing precise logistics for Drivers to follow along routes and coordinating delivery times. This role is primary point of contact for Drivers and have all the information needed to make timely deliveries to XNGs Customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Generate BOLs and dispatch delivery Drivers to Core and Utility Customers
• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
• Use radio, phone or computer to send Drivers and Operation Field Employees (after hours) to appropriate locations
• Monitor the routes and status of Drivers and Equipment to prioritize schedules
• Communicate to Operations Command Center and Management when delivery schedules are not on target
• Build sustainable relationship with Logistics and Operations Team
• Provide Drivers and Operation Field Employees (after hours) with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
• Document equipment in and out of service and communicate issues to the mechanics

Requirement:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years Customer Service and/or Dispatch Experience
• Proficient with DOT Compliance, including Emergency Situations
• Fast typing with data entry
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to written procedure

• Excellent Communication and Listening Skills
• Logistics/Transportation/Energy Experience
• Ability to Multi-Task and Prioritize
• Basic knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance

Other Considerations:

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
