Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: This full time position is part of the Dispatching Team and will oversee, dispatch, monitor and schedule over 140 Student Drivers and NEMT(non-emergency medical transportation) Drivers throughout their shift. Extensive utilization of routing software and handling of incoming calls. Assist office staff with other administrative duties.

Job Duties:
- Maintain and review routing software for dispatching and routing of drivers; proactively manage and modify routes/schedules to improve services throughout the shift
- Monitor multiple vendor portals for requests and real time updates; ability to multitask is imperative
- Responsible for driver phone calls for information regarding scheduling issues and field situations; notify supervisor when situations call for escalation
- Provide stellar customer service to clients while coordinating new trip requests.
- Resolve problems and/or complaints quickly and efficiently
- Assists all Tristar drivers and supports overall office phone coverage
- Other duties assigned by the Transportation Manager
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of dispatching experience a must along with strong data entry skills
- Must be technically savvy and able to navigate web based software, and tools such as Google docs, sheets, etc.
- Experience in dispatching platforms such as RoutingBox, MediRoutes, TripSpark, etc. required; NEMT industry experience a plus
- Must have previous customer service and scheduling experience
- Strong driver management skills; enjoys a fast paced work environment
- High School diploma required
- Excellent verbal and email communication skills; excels in customer service
- Effective problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and possess strong attention to detail
- Must have professional phone etiquette skills and strong ability to multitask
