Dispatch Coordinator

* MUST HAVE PREVIOUS LOGISTICS OR TRUCKING DISPATCHING EXPERIENCE *

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the dispatch operations for the company
- Manage a group of Ohio Drivers and dedicated loads to be scheduled, planned, and delivered on time
- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Utilize transportation management systems, such as TMW and Peoplenet, to optimize routes and communicate with drivers
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and other dispatchers to ensure smooth operations
- Dispatch drivers and monitor their progress throughout the day
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during transportation operations
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of freight and supply chain operations
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems, such as Transportation Management TMS softwares
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings
-Strong leadership and decision making capabilities
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders
- Experience in dispatching and transportation planning
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
