Job Description:
As a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Dispatcher at R2 Transportation, you will play a crucial role in coordinating TRANSPORTATION SERVICES for individuals requiring medical assistance. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for managing transportation requests, scheduling trips, and ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in facilitating smooth transportation operations and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive transportation requests from clients, medical facilities, and other stakeholders via phone, email, or online platforms.
• Coordinate with drivers to schedule TRANSPORTATION SERVICES based on client needs, medical appointments, and logistical considerations.
• Maintain accurate records of trip details, including pick-up and drop-off locations, passenger information, and special requirements.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide necessary trip information, including directions, special instructions, and client preferences.
• Monitor trip progress and address any deviations from the scheduled itinerary, ensuring timely adjustments to minimize disruptions.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and requests for assistance, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, optimize route efficiency, and enhance overall service quality.
• Utilize transportation management software and tools to track vehicle locations, monitor driver activity, and generate reports as needed.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines governing non-emergency MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains to enhance the overall dispatching process and customer experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in transportation management is a plus.
• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or customer service roles, preferably in a healthcare or transportation setting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in using computer software and transportation management systems.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
