Dishwasher/Prep Cook

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen is kept clean and organized, and that all food preparation is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
• Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality food preparation
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe and healthy kitchen environment
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized storage area for food and supplies
• Support the Chefs in creating a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and professional development among kitchen staff
• Assist with special events, catering, and other culinary initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Dishwasher/Prep Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or culinary environment is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality food preparation
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
