Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes - Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen - Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment - Assist with menu planning and inventory management - Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations - Follow dietary restrictions and special requests for meal preparation - Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations - Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and menu planning - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Skills: - Food safety - Meal preparation - Restaurant - Food preparation - Catering - Menu planning - Food industry - Kitchen - Dietary aide - Dietary department Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
