Community Interface Services is looking for passionate and reliable people to work as full-time Support Staff! This position is a great entry level opportunity to break into the social services field.

We are a local nonprofit that has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1983. At the core of our services, we believe that people with intellectual/developmental disabilities are in the best position to determine how they want to live, and that they should be valued and included in society. As a Support Staff, you would be applying this mission through directly working with individuals to achieve their life goals!
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUPPORT STAFF
You will make a difference for others by teaching people with intellectual and developmental disabilities new skills and empowering them to reach their goals:
- Help people with budgeting, grocery shopping, preparing healthy meals, making good life choices, solving everyday problems, or maintaining a clean and safe home environment.
- Help people pursue employment opportunities and build skills to maintain employment.
- Help people to become more connected with their family, friends, and community.
- Help people achieve more independent living and develop their skills. Each day, you take pride in serving the members of our community with disabilities and making a difference in their lives!
This full-time, social service position works a flexible schedule that is based on your availability and the availability of the participant. Typically, participants are available Monday - Friday during daytime hours and work locations can include Oceanside, Fallbrook, and Vista, CA.
This position earns a starting range of $18.50-20.50 per hour, plus earn two incentives of $625 each after completing brief online trainings (a total of $1250 in extra pay before taxes)! Earn a $1 per hour pay increase after completing a six-month development and performance program! Future professional development opportunities include ongoing training and a unique leadership development program which leads to future pay increase and promotion opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree or related experience is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Car in safe working order, vehicle insurance, Valid CA driver's license, and 2 years of driving experience
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
