Position Summary
In support of the Mission, Vision, and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the Director, Sales Operations will lead the charge in establishing and enhancing the Sales Operations function. This pivotal role involves adeptly managing a small team and collaborating closely with the VP of Sales to craft and sustain key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the sales team's effectiveness, productivity, and operational efficiency. Embracing a hands-on approach, the Director, Sales Operations will navigate dynamic daily challenges, offering a platform for continuous professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing Sales Operations strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the sales cycle and increase revenue growth.
- Account mapping, planning and strategy.
- Designing and managing the sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, and ensuring that they are consistent and aligned with the organizational goals.
- Creating and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and evaluate the sales team's performance, productivity, and efficiency.
- Analyzing and reporting on sales data, trends, and insights, and providing actionable recommendations to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
- Managing and optimizing the sales technology stack, such as the customer relationship management (CRM) system, the sales automation tools, the data analytics tools, and the sales enablement platforms.
- Evaluating and selecting new sales technology vendors and solutions and ensuring their successful integration and adoption by the sales team.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing, finance, product, and customer service, to ensure cross-functional alignment and coordination of sales activities and initiatives.
- Defining and overseeing the sales compensation plans, the sales incentive programs, and the sales recognition and reward schemes.
- Establishing and enforcing sales policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
- Resolving sales operational issues and challenges and providing guidance and support to the sales team as needed.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, sales management, or a similar role, preferably in the same industry or domain.
- Proficiency in sales automation and CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com, HubSpot, or Pipedrive.
- Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices, such as SPIN, Challenger, or Solution Selling.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
