Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Food and Beverage department
- Manage and train a team of Food and Beverage staff
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events
Skills:
- Strong interviewing skills to hire qualified Food and Beverage staff
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and specialty coffee beverages
- Proficient in team management, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Familiarity with food production processes and culinary techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Bartending skills to prepare alcoholic beverages and manage bar operations
- Understanding of hospitality management principles to ensure smooth operations
