Our boutique staffing firm offers a great hands-on opportunity to join a corporate team that specializes in Chicago’s ever-changing job market. We are searching for a candidate who is eager, positive and detail oriented, as well as someone who is willing to go that extra step. This is a growth-oriented position, and the ideal candidate is someone who has an interest in learning the intricacies of the recruiting field in a very fast-paced environment! The position entails a lot of variety and someone with a knack for organizing and prioritizing will find this a rewarding challenge. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing recruitment support process, spearheading candidate references and verifying professional histories, communicating via email and phone with candidates and clients, working within CRM system to keep client and employee files up to date, creating new systems to create efficiency for office organization and filing, and working with the front office team. Position also involves organizing and coordinating special projects including, but certainly not limited to, marketing and event planning, business development initiatives, and writing internal as well as external newsletters. The salary range for this role is $45-55K dependent on experience. This role allows Friday WFH.
Responsibilities of the Sales Operations Assistant:
- Coordinate external interviews between the clients and candidates
- Write and post job descriptions for all open positions on LinkedIn, Indeed and the company website
- Communicate with client and candidates via email and phone
- Prepare and send correspondence on behalf of recruiting team
- Conduct reference checks and employment verifications
- Manage salesforce database for candidate and client related items
- Utilize LinkedIn, applicant database and other research tools to build lists of experienced candidates for open and future searches
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files and records
- Conduct phone interviews to evaluate the potential fit of applicants for open roles
- Maintaining and tracking inventory of marketing and promotional materials available in an internal marketing library
- Conduct research to pinpoint potential business opportunities
- Assist with developing new marketing strategies to directly reach prospects
- Assist with sales outreach as requested
- All ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
Requirements of the Sales Operations Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 1-2 year in recruiting or sales support
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Possess a “can do” attitude while willing to assist in administrative needs that come up within the office
- Ability to work both within a team and independently
- Exhibits a high sense of urgency and tenacity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
