Position Summary
We have an immediate opening for a Director. In this role, you will be responsible for the accuracy of Student course schedules and the building of strong relationships with students to understand and support their goals. You will lead a team that owns student course scheduling, graduation progress, master course catalog, scheduling calendar, scheduling reporting, and more. This position is critical to our overall success.
To be successful, you’ll need to be a hands-on initiative taker who loves designing and implementing technology-driven, efficient processes. We need a broad thinker who can make suggestions, take constructive feedback with a good attitude, and then go out and execute with diligence, all while leading a team. If you like working with others to develop a strategy and then rolling up your sleeves to implement that strategy, we’re probably a good fit.
This position is full-time and work from home.
Job Duties
- Train, coach, and lead a diverse team of Student services and scheduling support staff, with a focus on setting and monitoring departmental goals and progress against those goals;
- Oversee rules, best practices, and requirements associated with student services and scheduling across all grade levels and program types;
- Oversee accurate student course schedules to ensure adequate progress towards graduation as well as post-secondary school plans;
- Manage team efforts to ensure adequate calls, emails, and texts to families to discuss student course schedules and other customer service objectives, with a specific focus on building and nurturing strong relationships with students;
- Handle escalated scheduling situations, including but not limited to, escalated tickets, calls, emails, and text messages;
- Analyze, revise, and implement processes that are system-driven to improve team efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy;
- Facilitate Inter-Team and Inter-Departmental communication and training to help drive consistent program experience for our students and families;
- Ensure student data is accurate and sufficient to meet all operational and compliance requirements and any missing or otherwise insufficient data is clearly and quickly rectified;
- Evaluate student progress against graduation requirements and recommend proactive steps for students with credit deficiencies;
- Assist in monitoring graduation efforts with school counselors, tracking efforts regularly to identify potential graduates early and implement plans to meet graduation requirements.
- Oversee scheduling reports and ensure related processes are followed;
- Implement and oversee employee and process quality control (QC) measures;
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all scheduling calendars, course sections in the SIS and LMS, and master course schedules;
- Maintain and update all course catalogs to ensure accuracy and relevance;
- Ensure grades are finalized and stored within acceptable timelines and produce and send periodic report cards and transcripts to families; and
- All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Earned Master’s Degree;
- Three (3) years of related professional experience;
- Two (2) years of experience managing and leading people;
- High level of knowledge of G Suite;
- Experience with common office software products; and
- Ability to pass required background check.
- Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of professional experience in progressively responsible positions;
- Experience with school counseling, including experience at the secondary school level;
- Experience leading operations and customer service; and
- Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
