Position:Director of Student Recruitment &Family Engagement
Reports to: Rowe Principal
Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 + Robust Benefits Package
Location: Chicago, IL
Northwestern University Settlement Association and Rowe Elementary/Middle School is in search of a dedicated professional with an appreciation for its mission. Under direct supervision of the Rowe Principal, the Director of Student& Family Engagement is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Rowe Student Recruitment, and works closely with the school leadership team in order to integrate efforts, ensuring an effective approach to recruiting students. The Director is also responsible for Family Engagement for the school, which involves coordinating and organizing family events, as well as leading our BPAC committee and sitting on the Rowe School Leadership team. The Director will be an integral leader, key to the success of the future of the school during Rowe’s upcoming charter renewal.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the recruitment and enrollment process
- Enhance successful recruitment and outreach events in order to increase enrollment
- Organize and participate in recruiting events
- Represent the school to prospective students at recruiting events
- Provide appropriate follow-up communication with prospective families/students regarding school inquiries
- Design, implement, and execute recruitment and outreach strategies that will influence and increase enrollment
- Ability to keep excellent records with attention to detail
- Create and improv eon current enrollment and registration processes
- Perform other duties and function as assigned by the Principal

- Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred; written and oral

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google products
- Flexible, adaptive, positive, able to work as part of a team in a quick paced environment
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in appropriate field of study
- 3 years proven years of experience in similar field preferred
- Experience working with multiple demands, schedules and work styles
