Job Description:
AriensCo is seeking a Director of Operations for our Fayetteville, TN location. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, collaborating closely with a diverse range of key stakeholders to steer plant operations towards the path of continuous improvement. This position plays a critical role in enhancing safety, elevating quality, optimizing cost, ensuring reliability, and fostering an environment of exceptional employee engagement.
The Day to Day...

  • Core capabilities include functional and leadership capability, leadership coaching, team building, organizational & leader effectiveness and efficiency, continuous improvement mindset, talent development & management, driving a high-performance culture, engagement and cultural alignment.
  • Key deliverables include create and communicate a clear vision for the future to inspire and drive the plant to achieve business goals and objectives. Develop strategies for growth, set stretching but achievable targets and monitor performance to target for each functional area.
  • Set goals, monitor progress, and ensure accountability for direct reports
  • Accountable for allocating and planning resources to ensure key strategic metrics are met: safety, quality, delivery, productivity, budget/profitability, employee coaching, development, and engagement, communication, and human capital and retention.
  • Develop and implement appropriate operational, continuous improvement and human capital strategies aligning with the corporate goals
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the plant with visual management, problem solving, new product development launches, capital projects, control plans, quality plan, and continuous improvement plan.
  • Develop direct reports and others by creating an environment that both develops and affords opportunities to employees, inspires collaboration, and engages the team to contribute in meaningful ways.
  • Build effective teams and creates strong morale and recognize wins and successes, fosters open dialogue; empowers others to be decision-makers; defines success in terms of the whole team; and influence with authority when needed.

The Qualifications...
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience plant operations experience in leadership roles.
  • 3+ years of Plant Management experience preferred.
  • Track record of continuous professional development.
  • Able to lead Continuous Improvement initiatives, inclusive of root cause analysis, 6S, and basic practical problem solving (8D, A3).
  • Strong coaching expertise and knowledge of leadership development.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
