Location: Nashville, TN (hybrid in office role)

The Global eCommerce Operations Director will manage the digital growth of the SVP Worldwide’s brand sites -- Singer.com, PFAFF.com, HusqvarnaViking.com, and mySewnet.com—to grow brand visibility and improve site authority and

ensure the organization's eCommerce platforms are increasing B2B and B2C online sales through a tactical approach to enhancing operations. This will be executed by defining and achieving accelerated sales and profit targets in all eCommerce channels and developing a mid-term plan with key investments and milestones mapped. On a day to day basis, the qualified candidate will ensure online storefronts are visually appealing, easy to navigate and contain proper pricing descriptions and pictures. In addition, the Global eCommerce Operations Director will work under the direction of the Chief Digital Officer and will lead, inspire, and mentor 12-15 team members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages large-scale operations of the eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify), ensuring a seamless and optimized customer experience from browings to checkout

  • Oversees a multifaceted team, guiding them in product merchandising, promotion design, and content creation to enhance the online shopping experience

  • Maintains pulse on new product creation and release, ensuring appropriate introduction to the online shopping platforms

  • Works with marketing to implement new initiatives to increase sales and website traffic

  • Drives product data management strategies to optimize conversion rates and customer satisfaction

  • Works with growth marketing team to utilize SEO tools and methods to ensure eCommerce website is optimized for searching and performance responsiveness as well as delivering visual appeal and compelling content

  • Closely monitors eCommerce and industry trends and adjusts sites accordingly

  • Tracks and measures program effectiveness to drive improvement or develop new offerings

  • Partner with Supply Chain to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of product orders and ensure high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate closely with brand marketing and growth marketing teams to develop and execute effective online marketing campaigns, SEO strategies, and social media integration.

  • Manage all aspects of the P&L through direct and cross-functional teams, including tracking metrics, costs and business drivers to make quality business decisions

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align marketing content with product information, ensuring a unified and compelling approach

  • Monitors and advises on UX/UI for current and future versions of brand sites to align with brand initiatives, product launches and activations utilizing martech tools as well as eCommerce capabilities and partnering with our IT department.

  • Researches competition, investigates benchmarks and provides suggestions for improvement for online shopping experiences

  • Manages experienced Regional Directors of eCommerce Operations, who exercise latitude and independence in assignments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field

  • 7+ years of eCommerce experience with at least 5 years of management experience

  • Must have an understanding of the omni-shopper journey, extensive experience in traffic and conversion tactics and the ability to develop commercial playbooks for the eCommerce channel strategy

  • Experience organizing and streamlining a new Global team

  • Manage teams in APAC,LATAM,EMEA and NA.

  • Ability to organize and track data for data driven decision making as well as create simple dashboards for leadership

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Optimize, SEO best practices, headless CMS integration, basic design software and Google Suite

  • Strong experience with eCommerce systems: Shopify (preferred)

  • Experience with Operations collaboration to ensure appropriate inventory management, anticipate and communicate inventory needs, and forecasting for increases or decreases in demand

  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively

  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple tasks is required

You will need to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

  • Communicate effectively with customers through multiple forms of technology, including telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information

  • Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds

Work Environment/Location/Flex Arrangement:

SVP Worldwide offers a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. As part of our Flexible Workplace Policy, this position will be hybrid based in our company HQ in Nashville, TN. This role may include domestic (and/or international) travel up to 20%.
