Scion Nonprofit Staffing, a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Human Resources for immediate hire for our client, a well-known housing organization committed to eliminating homelessness in Seattle, WA This is a Full Time, Direct Hire, and Onsite opportunity.
As the Director of Human Resources, you will report to the VP of HR. You will play an important role in the strategic change management and streamlining of the goals and objectives of the organization alongside leadership and stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee employee compensation and benefits, HR systems, employee and labor relations, and staff development activities.
- Oversee workplace investigation processes as well as coach and train leaders on performance management standards.
- Ensure processes are improved and implemented.
- Utilize HR reporting and tracking systems to identify inequities and enhance efficiencies.
- Ensure the organization operates in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Guide the interpretation and review of policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Manage the HR staff and ensure all are properly trained in employee-related information while serving as a resource for questions and issues.
- Manage CBA administration, union relations, employee communications, grievance/arbitration resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Support the Finance team with payroll administration for the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of Human Resources leadership experience within a nonprofit organization required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or other related discipline required.
- SHRM or PHR certified preferred.
- Experience with compensation and benefits administration.
- Working knowledge of ADP or other HRIS systems preferred.
- This role is responsible for promoting and ensuring an environment supporting DEI core principles.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
