JOB SUMMARY
Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a passionate, dedicated Human Resources Director to oversee all aspects of Human Resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, safety and HR compliance. This role will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's culture, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring HR practices align with the company's goals and values. This is a full-time, salaried position hiring at $90,000-$100,000 per year based on relevant experience & certifications. This is a Hybrid position with travel expected approximately 10%-25% of the time.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization's mission, vision, and business objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to attracting, assessing, and hiring top-tier talent timely. Implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet current and future workforce needs.
  • Employee Relations: Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by managing employee relations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts. Provide guidance and support to managers and HR staff in handling employee-related issues.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management programs that drive employee growth, development, and accountability. Provide guidance to managers on setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and delivering constructive feedback.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain high-quality employees. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Working with HR staff, identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate continuous learning opportunities to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Foster a culture of professional development and career advancement.
  • HR Compliance: Stay up to date with labor laws, regulations, and industry trends. Ensure HR policies, practices, and procedures are compliant and aligned with legal requirements.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Drive initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. Foster an environment that values and respects individual differences.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, enabling data-driven decision-making. Monitor key HR metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Change Management: Lead HR-related change initiatives, guiding employees and managers through organizational changes and transitions.
  • Budget Management: Manage the HR budget effectively, optimizing resources to achieve HR goals and objectives.
  • Systems: Oversee HRIS systems and HR processes to ensure efficiencies and consistent structure.

Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field/equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior HR leadership role overseeing multiple locations with a track record of successfully driving HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and tools for managing HR processes.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field/equivalent work experience. Certifications such as SHRM-SCP is highly desired.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Paylocity highly desired.
