Director of Development
Eastside Community School, located on a five-acre site in Issaquah, WA, is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves preschool through Grade Ten. We seek a Full - Time Director of Development responsible for general community development and all fundraising plans and activities beginning now or by the fall of 2023 at the latest. The Director of Development is responsible for helping to build a culture of giving at our new and thriving school with plans for expansion and to build a strategic action plan to coincide with board initiatives and administrative needs beyond tuition income. The heart of the job is to serve the school and faculty graciously and enthusiastically. Be our newest colleague!
Required Qualifications
- Organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate
- Successful fundraising experience
- Education, training, or expertise in the field
- Interest in and support of Waldorf educational principles and practices
- Maintains the highest standards of personal/professional and ethical conduct
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in an independent school setting
- Experience in capital campaigns
- Experience with community development
