Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team of CPAs providing accounting leadership and deal diligence services. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth of our company through market analysis and sales initiatives. This is a role that requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with our potential clients.
Duties:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new clients
- Build and maintain relationships with new clients and provide the warm introduction to our senior team
- Oversee the review and coordination of engagement letters
- Maintaining our CRM notes and leads and reminders
- Provide regular reports on Business Development activities and progress
Qualifications:
- B.S. in accounting preferred
- Prior professional services accounting firm experience preferred
- Prior sales experience whether as a prior professional in practice or since
- Excellent strategic planning and project management skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet targets
