General Summary:
The Director of Sales &Business Development of North America controls the day-to-day company operations of North America and is responsible for its performance. The Director of Sales &Business Development of North America carries out the strategy set by the executive team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the needs of each country within the territory to strategically plan short-term and long-term growth plans.
- Provide market insights and strategic advice.
- Oversee and grow the North American market, hereto known as the "territory," through Business Development and sales.
- Manage and grow the existing Strategic Partner network.
- Procure new Strategic Partners in the territory according to the Strategic Partner territory plan and requirements.
- Determine the needs of the individual markets. Apply either the Strategic Partner program or direct sales program as deemed appropriate.
- Manage and hire staff for the North American team (with expected approvals).
- Set projections with the VP of Sales for the territory. This will be split into two channels, Direct sales and Strategic Partner sales.
- Pro-active prospecting, active selling, and product introduction will be executed per the sales strategy.
- Conducts day-to-day operations to manage the territory.
- Conducts quarterly reviews with direct reports and Strategic Partners.
- Domestic and international travel is expected for client management, product promotion, and internal team engagement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
