Director - Data & Analytics – Seeking a seasoned, leader who is passionate about solving business problems with technology solutions. This leader should have a track record of identifying, designing, and implementing complex, enterprise-wide solutions including ODS, data lakes, data warehouses, visualization technologies, ETL platforms & services, advanced analytics (e.g. AI, ML, NLP, Predictive, etc.), Analytic Process Automation, etc.
Reporting to: Executive Director – Data & Analytics, manages staff and vendors in delivering the highest quality IT services possible. Leads cross-functional continuous improvement efforts aimed at transformation and modernization initiatives. This leader will lead a team of internal resources and on/off-shore consultants.
Responsibilities:- Lead and participate in all aspects of technology modernization program.
- Drives a strategic vision of service delivery by defining goals/objectives, up-training staff, building accountability, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
- Works with the Executive Director to strengthen Duly’s overall data related cyber-risk posture through technology investments, process improvements, etc.
- Uses operational metrics/KPIs to drive process improvements through data/analytics.
- Influences the designs and implements the strategic direction and vision for the enterprise technical architecture for the organization.
- Ensures effective operation of an area through development and supervision of processes, metrics, and trend analysis.
- Engages regularly in formal and informal dialogue about quality; directly address quality issues promptly
- Research current and new industry trends, technologies and software development
- Identify efficiencies and improvements needed from the team to optimize performance and revenue stream
- Planning and execution of System Upgrades and Replacements of Legacy Systems
- Collaborates with senior leadership to identify opportunities to increase employee productivity and job satisfaction
- Utilizes customer satisfaction feedback to identify opportunities for process improvement and education
- Manage and lead IT team, providing skills and overall performance development as well as support and mentorship
- Establishes a work environment that is supportive to the professional development of staff and allows for appreciation, security, and advancement opportunities
- May provide other duties as assigned
- 5-10 years of leadership experience
- Experience with complex, cloud-based enterprise environments (A plus)
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
- Proven success in Enterprise Technology leadership roles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects to completion while maintaining quality standards and project deadlines.
- Solid technical background, with hands-on software development experience
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Informatica, or similar technologies. (A plus)
- Exceptional listening and communication skills, including the ability to gather requirements from, and engage with, non-technical Executives and their teams to design effective, efficient solutions.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as PCI, GLBA, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2 etc.
- Strong influencing skills leading technology discussions at the senior leadership level
- Ability to collaborate and manage relationships with other business units, external vendors and stakeholders
- Knows how businesses work and how organizations make money, applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals
