Location- minimum 3 days onsite in Chicago

Responsibilities:

• Analyze several existing systems to document fields and functions. Create detailed functional

documentation those systems.

• Relate current systems to industry standards to help build a new system.

• Manage the execution of Data Analytics projects to drive value and gain insight from

information.

• Analyze and review the use of advanced data analysis techniques that leverage technology to

process large volumes of data, and perform complex computations in a scalable, reproducible

and automated manner.

• Use data analysis to detect patterns leading to more efficient testing and data quality.

• Perform Data Analytics to identify and mitigate audit risks and achieve data automation,

reconciliation, traceability, lineage and transparency.

• Use Data Analytics to provide actionable, timely and accurate data to drive business insights

around regulatory risk, compliance, operations and finance.

• Familiar with data sourcing, data capture, data transformation and data preparation techniques

• Familiarity with Data Binning and K-means Clustering and applying those techniques.

• Working knowledge of core financial processes and related risks and controls and underlying

data structures would be beneficial.

Skills and Experience:

• A degree, preferably in Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Physics, (Applied) Mathematics,

Accounting, Information Systems.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum 2 years of relevant Data Analytics

experience

• Extensive experience in technical business analysis in the fintech industry

• Exceptional communication skills toward facilitating the use of new software systems

• Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview, etc. would be a plus

• Knowledge of ACL, databases, and hands on experience / theoretical knowledge in SQL including

writing stored procedures and data extraction / manipulation using queries would be a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
