This position serves as the Director, Information Technology (IT) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).
Qualifications: As a basic requirement for entry into the Senior Executive Service, applicants must provide evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senor level management capability and directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs).
To meet the minimum qualification requirements for this position, you must address the three mandatory TQs, the five ECQs.
EXECUTIVE CORE QUALIFICATIONS (ECQs): ECQs must not exceed ten pages (2 pages per each ECQ narrative). The ECQs are:

- Building Coalitions
You must submit a separate narrative statement that addresses each of the MANDATORY TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (MTQs) related specifically to this position. Your narrative statements should include specific examples of experience, education, and accomplishments, applicable to the position. Your narrative statements must not exceed two pages for each MTQ.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs)
1. Expert knowledge and demonstrated leadership in managing a robust Information Technology (IT) program, providing overall strategic direction to a large organization, to include policy and planning, security, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, network services, systems administration, and customer support.
2. Expertise in the cost-benefit analysis, acquisition, implementation, sustainment, and program management oversight of Cyber Security and network operations efforts in government or industry with demonstrated experience in complying with the NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework.
3. Expertise in developing and implementing strategic information plans that include identifying innovative and leading-edge solutions, implementing robust project planning, defining and securing funding, building a tech savvy and leading-edge workforce, achieving quality improvement, meeting audit requirements, and standardizing systems.Education:
