The Digital Media Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation and tracking of media plans across the
Monster Energy Company portfolio. This person is equal parts creative strategist and analytics-driven planner, and the
role requires someone who is adept at blending science and art to earn consumer attention in a meaningful and
measurable manner. A person in this role is expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media space, with a
heavy emphasis on digital and social, and an understanding of available trend intelligence, measurement modeling and
media tech.
Essential Job Functions:
- Digital Media Planning: Understand brand marketing plans and integrate with Brand team in continuous effort
to meet objectives. Align with Brand, Shopper Marketing and Sales teams to ensure there is continuity in brand
experience and impact being generated across our retail media footprint. Support a team executing the tactical
plan with clear guidance. - PnO (Performance and Optimization): spearhead tactical planning for initiatives to drive measurable customer
acquisition metrics including (but not limited to) new-to-brand buyers, subscription purchase and annual
customer value (revenue). Maintain a clear blueprint for consumer journeys and manage the "PnO"
(performance and optimization) of all projects and tactics. - Reporting and Analysis: lead the drafting, delivery and discussion of reporting and insight-driven analysis from
connected commerce and growth marketing to inform future planning. - Trend Intelligence: support the design of strategy and manage all tasks and/or outcomes related to marketing
plans for the rollout of direct-to-consumer sales efforts that may be undertaken. - Collaboration: serve as the lead contact for cross-functional teams such as (but not limited to) Brand
Management and Creative Services to draft, design and deliver assets required to execute the plans within
connected commerce and growth marketing verticals. - Teach & Be Taught: Supply innovative thinking that aligns with priorities and objectives to help Monster lean
forward into new, engaging concepts within Digital Media. Develop individual team members with clear,
achievable and empowering growth plans specific to each employee's role, skills and personality. - Additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing-related fields such as Communications, Media Studies, Marketing and
Advertising, Business or other. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus in Digital Media planning, buying and
measurement. Deep paid social experience is a plus. - Experience at an omni-channel brand with a high volume of complex data and/or familiar with the online and
offline media landscape (CPG experience a plus) or with a media company/agency. - A strategic thinker, practitioner, and excellent collaborator with experience building and leading analytics and
managing agile workflows, including experience working with teams to successfully implement
recommendations to drive business growth in a fast-paced environment. - Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Digital media certifications a plus: Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Pay Range: $71,200 - $89,000
