WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Digital and Social Media Manager for Believe Limited will write, create, and manage all communications for Believe Limited and it’s programs, via their websites, Social Media accounts, and digital marketing campaigns.
The manager’s primary duties involve working under our Digital and Social Media Director to create and implement multi-platform media plans and digital marketing campaigns, and leverag Social Media platforms, as well as traditional postcard/newsletter/snail mail mailings. Additional duties include managing Believe Limited’s company and community contacts database, writing copy, compiling and analyzing online metrics, graphic design duties, interacting with community members on social platforms, conducting market research, and reviewing digital content such as articles, advertisements, website copy, and Social Media posts that will help inform our output.
The manager will also be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, key partners, and external stakeholders, on both pre-existing programs, as well as new ones. Sometimes this means navigating new waters, so the ability to create new workflows and remain flexible is key to success.
Believe is not only looking for a self-starter who will build on our marketing/promotional platforms to generate further engagement and demand for all Believe Limited programs and services, but also a mature, level-headed individual, excited by a fast-paced work environment, who is capable of communicating compassionately with Believe Limited’s rare-disease patient communities. We are looking for a gifted storyteller.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, write and implement authentic, engaging, entertaining, and unique campaigns designed to both grow audiences and strengthen the quality of engagement across all Believe Limited programs and platforms.
Work with Believe Limited’s graphic designer, creative director, and project managers/visionkeepers to develop necessary content for campaigns.
Work with Believe Limited’s Social and Digital Media Director and Director of Patient Engagement to ensure all copy is nuanced, compassionate and respectful to the various rare disease patient audiences that Believe Limited works within.
Integrate traditional mailings of newsletters, postcards and similar physical marketing materials into campaign builds.
Manage the community contact lists for each program/project.
Engage community members with prompt responses in comments/dms, organize competitions, ask questions and cultivate relationships.
Manage digital advertising budget; track expenditures; report on effectiveness
Monitor Social Media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation to stay relevant and effective.
Track Social Media campaigns’ key performance metrics to maximize results and build reports for management and necessary external stakeholders.
Manage the relationship to Social Media agency partners and similar external stakeholders.
Implement ongoing updates/improvements to the Believe Limited website and all program websites.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
3 plus years experience in full-service agency or brand-side leading digital marketing programs, experience within the healthcare industry a plus.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Social Media and networking platforms, and a strong understanding of new media consumer behaviors and trends. Requires a mix of strong interactive, Social Media background and ability to tackle non-traditional marketing programs.
A gifted storyteller who is comfortable using copywriting and voice.
Proven track record of generating results, managing teams and collaborating with others on integrated marketing efforts in Digital and Social Media.
Extensive project management experience, ability to manage heavy workloads and rapidly shift priorities based upon the organizational needs.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to further organize and build upon current organizational structures.
Strong management skills and experience leading wide-scale initiatives.
Outstanding copywriting skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive copy in a variety of mediums.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Apple products, Hootsuite, the Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Squarespace, and Google Workspace Apps.
Experience working in a complex, fast-paced organization is strongly preferred.
B.A. or B.S Communications.
