SalarySummary: The Surgery Scheduler plays a fundamental role in the patient progression from initial consult to post-op. A Surgery Scheduler ensures the complex process of coordinating an accurate, active and operational schedule succeeds for the patient and physician alike.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate surgical procedures with multiple hospitals and surgery centers.
· Schedule and obtain pre-operative testing and clearances.
· Write and communicate surgery orders.
· Collect necessary documentation and authorization for surgeries.
· Coordinate post-operative follow-up needs.
· Monitor cancellations and organize medical appointment slots.
· Travel to alternate satellite locations as needed.
· Cross-train in various other office roles.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
