The Digital Marketing Specialist for MRO will help build brand awareness, increase engagement, foster industry relationships, and assist sales growth by developing digital content, with a strong emphasis on search engine optimization (SEO) and social media.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing or supporting an organization’s SEO social media and digital content development, preferably in the healthcare B2B space. They will also have exceptional organizational skills, strong copywriting and editing skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment within a growing organization. As an integral part of the marketing team, this candidate will drive digital strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve remarkable outcomes.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes and maintains the functional elements of the company's Digital Marketing strategy, including social media marketing (organic and paid), SEO/SEM, geo-targeting and website development, to amplify the company’s voice across digital outlets.
- Executes SEO and SEM campaigns and initiatives to drive qualified and relevant visitors to our web properties. Regularly assesses the effectiveness of SEO/SEM campaigns, infrastructure, and initiatives and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Manages social media calendar and updates social media platforms, including managing all corporate channels and employee advocacy program.
- Develops content and facilitates social media strategy and tactics, including image design, and distributes to appropriate channels, including via MRO’s advocacy program.
- Facilitates social media community management by regularly reviewing messages, responding to posts, following clients and industry partners, etc.
- Coordinates with creative and digital agencies to build, implement, and launch digital resources such as campaigns, microsites, etc.
- Makes regular updates to corporate website including newly produced content.
- Assists in the creation of a wide variety of marketing content that may include blogs, newsletters, collateral, campaigns, articles, presentations, and sales proposals.
- Interacts with key decision makers and internal stakeholders.
- Performs additional assignments as directed by Content Marketing Manager, Senior Director of Marketing, Senior Director of Product Marketing, or Event Manager.
SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role managing SEO, social media and digital content.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and superior organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, meeting tight deadlines.
- Effective project management skills and can create and execute project plans with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team and organization.
- Self-confident, energetic, and creative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Word Press, Adobe Creative Suite, social media posting platforms. Experience with Oktopost, Canva, Salesforce, and HubSpot a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite (Analytics, AdWords, Tag Manager, etc.) and SEO/PPC best practices.
- Some travel is required for assistance with events.
