The Pennsylvania Game Commission is seeking a Wildlife Conservation Education Specialist - Digital Marketing Specialist that has the ambition and drive to contribute to our team. This position gives you the opportunity to assist with marketing efforts, while managing and implementing email marking and paid advertising for the agency. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Your primary responsibility will be to assist with creating and implementing marketing projects that promote Commission programs and encourage participation in hunting and trapping in Pennsylvania. You will achieve this goal through email marketing and paid advertising. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Digital Communications and Strategic Communications Divisions on creative assets and copywriting for the campaigns.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:45 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in the development and implementation of Conservation Education programs; and a bachelor's degree with course work in wildlife management, journalism, communications, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be willing and able to work in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
- You must possess a current and valid Pennsylvania Class "C" Driver's license or equivalent.
- You must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends as required.
- You must be willing to travel occasionally within and outside of Pennsylvania.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Post-secondary degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: Public Relations, Marketing/Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, Wildlife Management or another related field
- Professional experience in email marketing
- Professional experience in paid advertising
- Experience with hunting
