About This Job
The Digital Marketing team is an integral part of Enterprise Digital Strategy and is responsible for managing company websites, publishing content, producing digital assets, supporting Digital Marketing campaigns, and providing integrated Digital Marketing services for Commerce.
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist II who is a front-end web designer and can combine the art of design with coding. The ideal candidate should have a creative eye and be well-versed in web content management, web development, digital design and user experience (UX). Experience with content management systems, front-end coding and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred. Should be capable of working on multiple projects at once, collaborating in a team environment and interacting directly with internal clients.

Essential Functions
- Support the content publishing lifecycle by creating, editing and publishing web content with a content management system
- Design and front-end code reusable web page templates and components
- Design creative digital assets in support of websites, email marketing, content marketing and display ads
- Ensure creative output supports the business needs and objectives according to brand guidelines, UX, accessibility and technical specifications
- Identify and write user stories to meet design, UX and website accessibility requirements
- Support website releases through user acceptance testing and quality assurance tasks
- Conduct competitive research, follow industry trends, communicate insights and proactively provide recommendations
- Develop creative concepts and expand on them through feedback and collaboration during the production process
- Communicate daily with internal clients, explain digital design best practices and show a positive attitude while working in a corporate environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Intermediate experience in web design and web development as shown in portfolio work
- Intermediate understanding of content management systems, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML5, CSS3 and UX/UI design
- Intermediate understanding of Agile project management and practices within software development cycle
- Basic proficiency with JavaScript
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, innovative and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and core values
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 3+ years of professional experience in Digital Marketing, web design, web development or related field required
- 2+ years of marketing experience required
- Financial services experience preferred
