Position Summary:
The Specialist, Digital Designer on our dynamic Brand Creative team designs and develops compelling and visually impactful creative assets, from concepting to execution. The ideal candidate will be a conceptual thinker who brings big ideas to life through differentiated and unexpected visual concepts, smart design, and a high standard for your craft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Strategists, Creative Directors/leads, Copywriters and members of our creative team to bring insight-driven creative concepts to life with thought-provoking creative solutions
- Apply your expertise in art direction and digital design to a wide range of cross-channel creative such as identity development, campaign integration, presentation narratives, video, user interface design, digital display, email, and social
- Demonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends, while keeping the pulse of advertising and design industry shifts and best practices
- Confidently articulate creative ideas within internal creative reviews and brainstorms
- Act as a steward for our brand, responsible for maintaining consistency of visual identity across all experiences
- Partner with market management and strategy teams to ensure creative is on brief, on time and on strategy
- Serves as brand steward by ensuring internally and externally produced materials meet brand standards while effectively meeting business communication needs.
- Engages associates in applying the visual identity with the objective of contributing to associates’ identification with and appreciation of the ministry as well as recognition
and appreciation among external stakeholders.

Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in digital design at advertising or marketing agency, design studio, or highly strategic in-house agency
- Work Experience:
- An impeccable visual aesthetic paired with a firm understanding of the fundamentals of design (layout, hierarchy, typography, color, and image selection)
- Demonstrated mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design skills and thoughtful use of graphic design and typography
- Previous experience in a DTC brand, healthcare, hospitality, or financial services industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with producing graphics for use in digital spaces (online, video, PDFs)
- Experience creating graphics for use in Google Docs and Slides
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web standards preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce/ExactTarget preferred
- Project Management:
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and project management skills.
- Communication Skills:
- Effective communicator who’s capable of gaining the confidence and respect of peers and key stakeholders is required

- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing creative landscape.
