The Digital Marketing Intern will provide support to the marketing department in the areas of social media, ad campaigns, and phase 2 of the GBP.com website refresh. Work will include researching of key words, key phrase content and back links to support the user navigation and experience for website pages, content and chat bot functionality.
This is a summer internship position can start in May 2024 and run through August of 2024.
A Marketing Intern can expect to be trained in a variety of additional marketing tools and platforms. These tools may include GA4, WordPress, ZoomInfo, Lead Forensics and Meltwater.
- Assist in the execution of social media posting across all platforms according to social media calendar (Meltwater).
- Assist in written content development for website, blog and social media (WordPress, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook).
- Work with graphic designers for pictures, infographics, and videos to support social media.
- Assist in development and research of key words and search criteria for website, blogs and social media.
- Assist in updates to divisional website pages following design criteria.
- Work with graphic designers to provide alt text for images on division pages to improve SEO.
- Keep consistency and promote Green Bay Packaging brand guidelines on all platforms.
- Assist in website analysis of updates and campaigns to maximize marketing exposure and SEO results.
- Ability to manage timelines and multiple projects at once.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to work in WordPress is a plus.
- Understanding of B2B marketing with completion two or more core marketing classes.
- Organized, dependable and detail oriented.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures.
