Position Description:
The Ledger Art Digital Asset Intern reports to the Anthropology Research Curator and will create high-resolution photo stacks of the Plains Indians Ledger Art collection and prepare them for 3D delamination, which can then be digitally utilized in many ways. The intern will learn basic collections research and other valuable skills, such as an understanding of broader cultural dynamics and how to handle museum materials.

Digital enhancement of photographs
Preparation of material for the web
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would understand the technical aspects of photography and photographic software.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop
Familiarity with anthropology
Familiarity with DSLR management/use
Collections handling experience
Basic web design/setup experience

A fund of $2000 is available for wages for each intern, in addition to a $500 travel stipend that is independent from hourly wages. This internship will occur over 10-12 weeks (at approximately 23 hours per week), from June-August 2024.
